Well the end has finally come but we are both okay with that, it has been a long but amazing honeymoon and just so thankful and blessed for the amazing time we had. Day ten we started the morning with an awesome breakfast of course prepared by uncle Teddy! We had portugese sausage and hawaiian sweet bread french toast. We then drove up to Waipio Valley which was just breathtaking, the views were just beautiful! On the way back we stopped at Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls to see the waterfalls. We did some last minute shopping in Hilo and stopped at Big Island Candy store. Then in the afternoon we had a big get together at grandpa's house with lots of yummy food! We had a big send off and were so happy to get to say goodbye to everyone before we left. We had a short flight back to Oahu before boarding the long overnight flight back to the mainland. Unfortunately neither one of us were able to get comfortable and sleep very well so today (day eleven) was LONG LONG LONG (but worth it)! We already had about a five hour layover but with our unfortunate luck the plane got delayed a little over two hours :-( We made the best of it thank goodness Vegas has a huge airport and we were able to keep ourselves busy and honestly out of all the flights to get delayed that was the best one for it to happen to! Finally we are back home and back in our own bed and it feels so good to be home sweet home. Hope you enjoyed following our journey :-)

Day Nine
We started the morning with a trip into Hilo to do some shopping then came back and had an awesome omelet uncle Teddy made for us for breakfast. Then we spent the afternoon fishing with the Arquitola's and Garrett even caught a Palani! That was a lot of fun. We then had supper tonight at uncle Jesse and auntie Cindy's house and they made us Hage pineapple, it was delicious :-)

Day Eight
Today we started off the day by going to Volcano National Park, spent a few hours driving through the park are hiking, got to see some very cool stuff! Then we headed to Punalu'u Bake Shop (southern most bakery in the US!) where we had lunch. Then we went over to the black sand beach where we spent the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, and watching the turtles. After that we went and had a drink at Shaka (southern most bar in the US!) and ate fried shrimp. After that we proceeded to the southern most point in the US before heading back home for an amazing dinner again cooked by uncle Teddy. Tonight's meal was beef stir-fry and some poke, and yes we both tried it!

Day Seven
Another long day! This morning we drove up to the north shore where we had surf lessons which was a blast but very exhausting, we both were able to get up though! After that we headed back to the hotel where we did some more snorkeling until it was time to pack up and head to the big island. We arrived at grandpa's house just in time for some delicious shoyu chicken for supper made by uncle Teddy! We also had a visit from auntie Cindy and uncle Jesse (which I know you will read this auntie Cindy so thank you very much for the card) which was very nice as well! :-)

Day Six
Today we took a drive along the east coast and north shore and saw some pretty amazing views. Our first stop (pictures are in order) was Maunalua Bay beach park, then we stopped at the Hawaii Kai overlook, then the Lanai lookout, then Halona blowhole overlook and Eternity beach, then Makapu'u overlook, we then drove to Kailua and ate lunch at Teddy's Bigger Burgers which was delicious, then onto Kualoa Regional Park aka Chinaman's Hat, then Laie point where we saw a guy jump off the huge cliffs which was pretty cool and scary, then the famous pipeline where we even got to see a whale jump out of the water a few times which was very very cool, and finally saw some wind surfers at Mokuleia beach. When we got back we did some more snorkeling at Waikiki in front of our hotel and saw tons of different fish (probably Garrett's favorite part so far lol)! Tonight we of course strolled the shops some more and had some really good pizza at California Pizza Kitchen.
